This page explains what cookies and similar technologies are used when you visit cuban-portal.com, who sets them, what they are for and how you can change your mind at any moment. It complements our privacy policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
The short version: the site itself sets almost nothing. What does get stored comes from three providers — the consent platform, the advertising platform and analytics — and everything that is not strictly necessary waits for your consent before it runs.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so that the next request can be recognised as coming from the same browser. Related technologies do the same job by other means: local storage keeps values inside the browser itself, and pixels or tags let a server register that a page was loaded.
Throughout this page we use "cookie" to mean all of them, because what matters is not the technical mechanism but what is stored, by whom and for how long.
Your choices, and how to change them
Consent on this site is managed by Gatekeeper Consent, a certified consent management platform (CMP) that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The first time you visit, it asks what you allow; your answer is stored so you are not asked on every page.
You can change that answer whenever you want. The privacy control appears at the foot of the site, and it reopens the same dialog with your current choices. Withdrawing consent stops future processing; it does not undo what happened while consent was in place.
You can also act from the browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either globally or per site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies is possible but will break parts of the site — signing in, in particular.

The table below groups what is stored by purpose. Names are given where they are stable and identifiable; advertising and consent platforms rotate and version their identifiers, so the definitive, always-current inventory is the one shown inside the consent dialog itself.

Advertising: one provider, and who sits behind it
Advertising on this site is served by Ezoic, a Google Certified Publishing Partner. Ezoic runs the auction and brings in demand partners — Google among them — which is why the advertising cookies you may see come from several domains rather than only from ours.
Ezoic also sets identifiers of its own to measure how pages perform and to detect invalid traffic. The full, current list of Ezoic and partner cookies is published inside the consent dialog, where each vendor can be accepted or rejected individually.
CubanPortal works with a single advertising provider at a time. There are no pop-under networks, interstitials or redirect-on-click formats on this site, and none will be added: they are prohibited by Google's policies and they make a site worse to use.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people actually read, where visitors arrive from and which parts of the site fail. It is configured with Google Consent Mode v2 and starts in denied mode: until you consent, no analytics identifiers are written.
We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles, and we do not upload customer lists or contact details to it.
What we never do
Two commitments that are easier to state than to infer from a cookie table.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your contact details with advertisers.
- We do not use cookies to track you across unrelated websites for our own purposes.
- We do not run ad formats that cover the page or interrupt reading.
- We do not load a second advertising network alongside the one named above.
Third-party content
Some pages embed Google Maps to show where a property is. Loading a map involves a request to Google, which may set cookies of its own under its policies. If you never open a map, that request is never made.
Changes and contact
Providers change, and so do their identifiers. When something material changes here we update this page and the date at the top of it.
