The property market in Cotorro

Cotorro is the most peripheral municipality in Havana and, fairly consistently, the cheapest. Its character is semi-urban: large plots, single-storey houses, industrial strips and farmland woven into the residential grid.

The decision to buy here turns almost entirely on transport. It is the greatest distance to the centre in the capital, and without your own vehicle daily life is organised around the bus and the Casablanca train. In exchange, it is where a budget goes furthest.
